Benzoylperoxide(also can call it BPO),which is the white graininess crystal,its molecular weght is 242.2,its melting point is 103～105℃,its self-igition point is 99℃,and its denstiy is 630kg/m3 , it is slightly dissolving in water,easy to dissolve in organic dissolvent.

6 High temperature initiating agent
(1)T-BPB,which is a kind of transparent liquid, its molecular is 194.2,its boiling point is 112 ℃,its freezing point is 8.5 ℃, its viscosity(20℃) is 6.5mPa.s and its density(20℃) is 1040kg/m3

7.Foaming agent
C5H12、n-C5H12 and i-C5H12 are the main EPS foaming agents. Generally, C5H12 and i-C5H12 is made into foaming agent according to proportion. And the proportion between C5H12 and i-C5H12 has big influence on the EPS preservation period and foaming performance.
The olefin content in the industrial product pentane has big influence on the EPS processing performance, if the olefin content is too high, it tends to cause the products shrink.
Preservation and transportation’s safety data and operation requirement: The explosion limit is 1.32%~7.8%, it belongs to flammable liquid, and is usually preserved by pressure vessel .During its using process, avoid air and blazing fire.
8.Flame retardant agent
The main role of the flame retardant is to change the EPS ignition process. Its principle is that the flame retardant produce intensive dehydration substance under flaming condition , so as to carbonize the plastic and prevent it from producing flammable volatile, and then avoid the flame spread. The flame retardant decompose and produce nonflammable gas, dilute and cover the air to inhibit flaming.
HBCD-75 is a kind of alicyclic group flame retardant contains high bromine volume , and is mainly used in thermoplastic and thermosetting high polymers which require flame retardant. Flame retardant agent is applicable to EPS, OI ≥30, achieving the self-extinguishing standard ruled by the state. It also has features as thermo stability , less addition amount ,and do not need other auxiliary flame retardant agents in other polymer systems.
